The First Pour
The Weinberg Glasshouse
Bare Essentials launched its inaugural Sensory Experience at the iconic Weinberg Glasshouse. Guests explored the art of candle-making in a sunlit glasshouse, enjoyed delicate food crafted by Chef Nicla Dos Santos, and sipped on Annabelle Sparkling Wine and KWV Cruxland Gin. It was immersive, intimate, and unforgettable, marking the genesis of our experiential journey.
Love in Bloom
Skinny Cow Café
An intimate candle-making experience designed for lovers, creatives, and friends-at-heart. Hosted on Valentine's Day at Skinny Cow Café, guests crafted their own signature candles and deepened connections over afternoon treats and warm atmospheres.

Anna’s Kloovenberg
Hosted in collaboration with Chef Albert in the rustic warmth of Anna’s Kloovenberg, this sensory experience paired fine food and wine withcandlemaking inspired by seasonal fragrance notes. A sensory feast for the curious and the indulgent.
Paint, Sip & Scent
Et Cetera Restaurant
A creative twist on the traditional paint & sip. Guests painted directly onto signature Bare Essentials candles while enjoying handcrafted cocktails and curated decor. Soft lighting, artful ambiance, and the joy of personalised design made this experience stand out.
Brunch with Bare
Droombos
Bare Essentials brought an RnB-inspired sensory brunch to life under the magical Droombos canopies. Guests painted tote bags, sipped KWV Sparkling Wine and Imagine Gin cocktails, and swayed to old-school RnB, a soulful blend of creativity, food, and music.
The Aura Series
Droombos Townsquare
Our largest sensory experience to date. In collaboration with Odette, 130 guests came together for a candle-making, pizza & wine experience sponsored by Spier and Van Loveren. Themed to Alternative RnB, the night featured a tasting table, bottomless pizza, activations, curated decor, and a takeover soundtrack. A feast for the senses and the soul.
